Physiology emerged from the combination of the Greek word “physis” meaning science and “logos” meaning science. In addition, this branch of science is the branch of science that examines how the mechanism of living organisms and sensory organs works and the change processes that occur in the organism. It can be said that the sense of vision plays a very important role in perceiving physiological images in various ways, especially under certain conditions. The eye contains special cells called "photoreceptors" that are responsible for detecting light and transmitting visual information to our brain. These photoreceptors are divided into rods and cones. Rods are more sensitive to dim light and help us see in low-light environments, while cones are responsible for color perception and work in bright light. Physiology plays a crucial role in how vision perceives images in different ways under certain conditions, as the visual cortex of the brain processes and interprets signals received from the eyes to create perceived images. For this reason, the function of the eye as a sensory organ can cause physiological and psychological illusions by working with different organs and sensory systems of our body in the process of vision processing. Since optical illusion is associated with illusions in the mental process, it can change shape by focusing on objects at different distances, allowing it to perceive both near and distant images.
